NATURE QUEEN – packaging design

There are thousands of comestics’ brands, but only few of them have design that spellbinds consumers within a few seconds… One of them is the NATURE QUEEN brand. How do they do it? Check out this transformation story!

As an agency, we deal with digital, DTP, and branding. It is with great passion that we propose and implement changes, which contribute to growth of our Clients’ businesses – also in terms of visual identification and packaging design.

When asked to design new labels and packagings for lotions, peelings, oils, hydrolates and other products, we have developed a complex system of visual identification as part of packagings for the NATURE QUEEN brand products.

During project works we were guided by the thought that consumers do not buy products as such. They buy the image of the brand and its values. Therefore, we decided to focus on those elements which highlight the natural composition of cosmetics, as declared by the producer, and make them part of the minimalist design. Transformation of packagings also included needs and expectations of the target group and the brand’s concept, as well as the newest design trends, and so it brought about a huge success. The first month following the launch of the cosmetics already saw a significant increase in sales results, and the new image of the NATURE QUEEN cosmetics enchanted the Brand’s lovers.

This success can be attributed to the legibility and consistency of the visual layer of packaging for all cosmetics, which at the same time makes them stand out on a store shelf and appeals to the target group. And for this effect to happen, we focused on showing figures of individual main ingredients of cosmetics and expressive geometric shapes in dedicated colours. We also applied a unique contrast of textures (matte background and shimmering refinements in a rose gold shade).

In total, we have designed packaging and labels for jars, glass, and plastic bottles for over 60 products! Check out the original session with the effects of the transformation.
